Azure Cost Export Source
Point Cloud Horizons at your Azure Cost Management scheduled export. We read CSVs directly from your storage account — no ARM throttling, no polling delays.
Current export source
Event Grid push
Recommended — instant ingestion on blob write
When enabled, Azure calls this webhook the moment a new cost export CSV lands in your container — no waiting for the 6-hour poll. The 6-hour poll stays on as a fallback for missed events.
Webhook URL (copy now — shown only once)
In Azure: Storage account → Events → Create Event Subscription → event type Blob Created → endpoint type Web Hook → paste the URL above. Azure will send a validation request first; Cloud Horizons handles it automatically.

How to set up an Azure export
- In the Azure portal, go to Cost Management → Exports.
- Create a scheduled export (Daily or Monthly) to a storage account you own.
- Generate a read-only SAS token on the container (or grant your SPN Storage Blob Data Reader).
- Enter the storage account name, container, and optional prefix above. Enable Event Grid push (above) for instant ingestion.
